Landler
Composer: Martin P.
Category: Orchestra
Level: B
Description:

A folk dance in 3/4 time, and precursor to the waltz, the ländler was popular in both Austria and Germany at the end of the 18th century. This ‘tongue in cheek’ pastiche calls out for a little gentle thigh slapping participation from the audience. The PDF contain a part for violin III doubling that of the viola.
